SOUTH KENSTON RESEARCH

I am an AA student and I haven’t been able to reach London for various reasons, so all my opinions about SOUTH KENSTON come from the Internet.

The street graffiti that impressed me the most about SOUTH KENSTON I learned from articles on the Internet. Where I live in Shenzhen, China, there are many graffiti places on the walls, pillars, post boxes, the ground, manhole covers, trash cans, but there are few large graffiti walls. I like those graffiti very much, it looks youthful, interesting and feels very free. There are characters or graffiti on the walls at the entrance of many shops, which looks very interesting.

The styles of graffiti are different, there are colors that jump, and the colors are simple and atmospheric. My favorite pair of graffiti is a big white bird with a three-dimensional style. It blends well with the brown and coffee-colored wall behind it. The wall is located on the corner of the street, it seemed like a sealed life was welcoming people who came and went. This picture gave me design inspiration, so I used it in the final design.

This session on the online courseware is mainly about the museums and shops over there. I replaced this activity with the exhibition I watched in China. I went to watch a fashion exhibition in Shenzhen. The exhibits are all from London. The whole exhibition introduces the history of clothing in the world, especially in Europe. Among them, I learned a lot, and the one that shocked me the most was the one made of 1500 Ji The wings of the worm are made into a white gauze skirt decorated with embellishments. The wings of the gidding worm are green, but the texture is reflective and the colors are very colorful. After that, I often think about whether it can be processed into this texture with unconventional fabrics that are not derived from animals.
